Dear JDate,

Add another mitzvah to your list! Alysa and I met through JDate.com. She had initially contacted me on October 6, 2001, and I replied shortly thereafter. However, she never got my email. After settling in to my new surroundings (I had just relocated to Dallas, TX from NYC), I figured I would give her another try.

Well, we spoke the same day I emailed her (about 3 weeks later) for about 3 hours, and ever since our first date on the 7th of November, I cant remember a period of more than 12 hours that we haven’t spoken to or seen each other.

I never believed in love at first sight, but meeting Alysa changed all of that. She IS my Beshert. We have been engaged since November 16th, 2002 and are quickly scrambling to be married. Thank you for being there for us and helping me to find the love of my life.
