Josh and I first found each other on JDate in December of 2009. At the time, we were both working the night shift at our jobs and found it difficult to meet new people. Josh, in fact, was encouraged to join JDate by his mother.

After talking online for a month, we started to chat on the phone. Our first phone conversation was over three hours long. After a few dates we realized we had a special connection. Josh asked me to be his girlfriend shortly thereafter on Valentine’s Day.

Our engagement was the next milestone in our relationship. Josh proposed on May 12, 2012 in a surprising and spectacular fashion. Josh took me on a romantic hot air balloon ride and had a large sign displayed on the ground, asking me to marry him. I said, “ABSOLUTELY!” I have never shared with anyone that this was my dream proposal. It was the best day of our lives.

We are to be married on April 14, 2013 at the Villa in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts and are looking forward to sharing the rest of our lives together. Thank you JDate for making this possible!
