My husband Robert and I met on JDate.com in April 1998. I had just moved here from Atlanta and did not know anyone. Friends of mine in Atlanta had dated several men from JDate.com and recommended that your Internet service may be a great way to connect romantically, and even platonically, with new people. I promptly purchased a computer once I arrived here, signed up for JDate.com, and met my husband 2 weeks later. We dated for one year before we got engaged.

Our story is truly “beshert.” You see, we both grew up in Philadelphia, literally 7 miles apart. We attended the same high school, frequented the same restaurants, and even had mutual connections. However, I formally met him in South Florida! We truly thank you for linking us together!
