Carol & Lee met late one night

on March 8, 2010 on the JDate site.

They spoke for hours on the phone

at a time in their life when they had felt alone.

The first time they met was with elation

at a rendezvous in the city of “Celebration!”

After ordering lunch and having a little bite

It felt like “love at very first sight!”

Lee’s home is where all agree

The beaches are so gorgeous as can be.

The skies are blue and the breeze is so nice

Lee keeps the world cool with pristine “Ice!”

Carol is a musician whose life is a whirl

performing and traveling all over the world.

She plays piano and sings and all that razzmatazz

She loves to entertain from Mozart to Jazz!

Carol never knew how fun it was to be kissed

by a Karaoke Singing Ventriloquist.

Lee is a man with his own special style

and is the reason Carol now wakes up with a smile.

Now traveling the world near and far away,

facing life’s challenges together each day.

Life can be filled with fairy tales and romance,

it just takes a step forward and taking a chance.

The past is gone and the future will bring

a new beginning as they exchange their wedding rings.

They will now share the magic in this new life

as they make their vows as husband and wife!

We are both in our fifties and we were ready to share our lives with someone special. Carol’s cousin made her sign up for JDate. After two dates, she met Lee!

Carol was looking for a secure man with self-confidence who understands that as an entertainer she is often in the spotlight. She also wanted to find a partner who wants to travel, loves to be involved in charity, and enjoys constantly learning new things. Thank goodness Lee loves the entertainment field. Although he is a successful businessman, he is a hobby ventriloquist and understands “The Biz!”

Carol adores the fact that Lee is not only a warm, kind and giving man with an amazing heart and smile, but that he is also a responsible man who gets things done. Lee loves that Carol is an independent woman who is passionate about her music, loves to laugh and loves to give to others.

People have all said that we make each other “glow” with our smiles when we are together.

After dating for two years, Lee proposed to Carol on the last night of a romantic Caribbean cruise in February. We will be married on October 13, 2012.

New Update from Carol & Lee on March 26, 2013:

Carol and Lee are happy to announce they were married twice in this past year! The couple was first married on June 21, 2012 at the Grand Floridian Resort at Walt Disney World® with just their family and friends.

The two later shared a magical wedding at Congregation Ohev Shalom in Maitland, Florida on October 13, 2012. It was a warm and traditional ceremony — however, the reception was a full-blown cabaret show called, “The Chutzpah Cabaret!” It was filled with talented international musicians, actors, vocalists, magicians and ventriloquists — all friends of Carol and Lee! They celebrated their love with family and friends from around the world.

Carol and Lee then went to France for their Honeymoon as Carol was performing on the Avalon Cruise up the Rhone River in Provence (they added an extra romantic week in Paris)!

“It has been such a wonderful journey… and every day we find we are more and more in love with each other,” says the happy couple! “The holidays are now filled with such joy as our two families celebrate! We are living in Florida and look forward to our future adventures, and sharing our lives together!”

Thank You JDate for presenting the opportunity for people with similar interests to have a chance to meet.
