I was on JDate for many months when I decided this isn’t for me. I was planning on staying on for another week and when my subscription was over, I would not rejoin. Little did I know that this was when I was going to meet my best friend whom I would be spending the rest of my life with! 

One night, I was just browsing on JDate when I came to Scott. I asked myself, “What do I have to lose?” and pressed the flirt button. This was the start to the rest of our lives. We started talking through email, then moved onto the phone and texts. It wasn’t long until we had our first date. We met in the heart of Penn Station and it was history after that.

Our first date couldn’t have been more perfect! It was at this moment that I knew Scott would be around for a while. We continued seeing each other more and more often. We dated for six months before we moved in together. After living together for almost a year and a half, Scott proposed on July 25, 2011.

On August 21, 2011, Scott and I became husband and wife with an amazing ceremony and reception! We want to thank JDate for bringing us together!
