It all began with Gail developing the chutzpah to send Steve a message on JDate with the subject line “A Yellow to a Yellow.” Both Gail and Steve had been classified as “yellow” personalities by the Color Code Personality Test each took at the start of their JDate experience.

Steve, who had already corresponded with or dated four other ladies thru JDate, noted in Gail’s simple four-line message a mature, self-aware person with a hint of spiritual depth. Two days later Steve sent a response, inviting Gail to correspond directly via email. Gail’s first test questions for a good man were “Did you love your wife?” and “Did you love your mother?” Steve’s answer to both queries was, “Yes!” This took place at the end of August in 2011. After a few weeks and 278 emails, the two met face to face, and the rest is history.

Both Gail and Steve are past the age of seventy, widowed, and enjoy sharing memories together. They are delighted to be in each other’s company and look forward to a harmonious future.
