On a summer night, in August 2011, I stumbled across Marc’s JDate profile. I thought he was attractive and had a lot in common with me. Because I was shy though, I didn’t want to send the first message… so I kept hoping he would contact me. Within a few days, as luck would have it, I had a message from Marc in my inbox and we exchanged several emails. We met for drinks a week later and we hit it off immediately.
After three months of being with Marc, I knew I had fallen completely in love. It wasn’t much later when I realized that he was The One. On a drizzly Saturday afternoon in May 2013, Marc took me for a walk in Central Park to “our spot.” It was there that he got down on one knee, and asked me to be his wife. Marc had hired a photographer, who was there to capture the moment.
Marc and I were married on September 6th, 2014 – exactly three years from our first date and we are happier than we’ve ever been. We complete each other and believe that we are besheret. We are enjoying every moment of being a newly married couple and looking forward to what the future has in store for us.
