GetChosen-Rachel

After searching for the best “Get Chosen” slogans to represent JDate’s new advertising campaign, we’ve officially named not just one…  but three winners!

JDate’s “Get Chosen” campaign is a fun, tongue-in-cheek rebranding that’s all about the cultural traditions and experiences unique to the Jewish people. Basically, it emphasizes the “J” in JDate. We had a blast coming up with lines like “Find someone who wasn’t on your birthright trip,” but we wanted to let our members share in the fun! So, we asked Jewish singles across the globe to share their best “Get Chosen” taglines via Twitter and Instagram. Here are our top three picks!*

1.  “Find Mr. Right to Left” by Jonathan Morvay

2.  “Because Dating Shouldn’t be as Hard as Parting the Red Sea” by Anthony Ramanauskas

3.  “Matzah Ball Recipes Don’t Survive on their Own” by Ricky Sans

The Grove
JDate Ad Placement at “The Grove” in LA

Starting this month, the three winning slogans will be popping up in ads across Los Angeles and New York. In fact, the first billboards already went up at The Grove in Los Angeles and in New York’s Times Square this week. The slogans will also be used in national digital ads across a variety of channels, including YouTube, Facebook and many other Jewish outlets, like Haaretz.com.

Since the entire “Get Chosen” rebrand is all about expressing the voices of the Jewish community (aka YOU), we knew it was imperative that we involve Jewish singles in helping to create the next phase of the campaign. This contest marks the first time JDate has formally sourced creative marketing copy from its members and potential members – and we are thrilled with the response!

Hopefully, the winners are just as excited as we are to see their slogans ‘in lights.’ Not only will the three winners get to have their original ideas used in our national ad campaign, but they will also be awarded the chance to find true love with a free year on JDate!  Who knows, maybe they will “Get Chosen” in more ways than one…

*Entries were judged based on composition of the material submitted and its relevance to the “Get Chosen” theme. To view all contest submissions, visit the Get Chosen contest website.
