Our story is pretty simple, yet powerful. We met for drinks and ended up hanging out for four hours (at the time, my daughter was 2-years-old and my mom was babysitting; my mom called me three times to make sure I was okay)!

We had an amazing connection and couldn’t stop laughing. We took things very slowly and continued to date regularly. I have a daughter, so we wanted to be sure we were heading in the right direction before I introduced them, which was about a year later.

Two years later we moved in together, and four years after that we were married in Hawaii at the Fairmont Orchid. The wedding was beautiful and romantic…just the three of us. We were married on August 16, 2011.

Our advice to other JDaters® would be to be honest in what you are looking for in a person and in terms of a relationship. Get out there and date! If you are too picky or unrealistic, love may pass you by.
