Scott and I met on JDate in July of 2010. Scott was about to cancel his account and I had just signed up that week! The whole idea was completely out of my comfort zone. After talking to Scott for a week, you can imagine my mom’s surprise when I told her, “a cute boy from North Carolina is coming to Minnesota to see me!”

We did not have your typical first date since the first time we met I was picking Scott up from the airport, but it was a great weekend nonetheless. As Scott said, it was unusually comfortable from the beginning. I guess you can say the rest is history.

We are getting married on June 10th and it has always been a dream of ours to make it on the JDate billboard in Times Square. We have been to New York City a few times together and take a picture of the billboard every time. We will be ending our honeymoon by spending a night in New York City… it would be amazing if you could make our dream come true!
