It has been an exciting month for us here at JDate! Upon the relaunch of our new site, we decided to host two parties in LA and NYC, both of which were incredibly successful. In addition, the Cleveland Jewish News threw a fantastic party in honor of the launch of their JStyle Winter Issue, specifically highlighting singles. (Obviously, we had to be a part of that!) A lot of kvelling has been taking place on our end and we got the full deets below to fill you in on all our simchas.

December 2, 2015: JDate Launch Party LA
Taking place at the oh-so-lovely Palihouse in West Hollywood, we gathered around 250 #JDaters to come out and have fun. With drinks in hand, everyone had a wonderful time mixing and mingling while viewing an ongoing slideshow of the new JDate website. The photo booth, with its impeccable lighting, was the main attraction of the night – an obvious step up from one’s bar/bat mitzvah photo album (#TBT). Schmoozing and laughing until the wee hours of the night, people left with cheerful smiles and hopefully a few phone numbers, too. Either way, we are always glad to get our JDate community together, and it’s even better when we have something to celebrate!

December 15, 2015: JDate Launch Party NYC
The new and hip Madison Square Tavern is where our NYC launch party took place. People from all over New York City came to hang out and schmooze! It’s the home of the largest Jewish community, after all, so we definitely fit right in strolling into our East Coast counterpart. The mezzanine floor was packed within minutes and drinks and laughter filled up the cheery atmosphere. All kinds of people showed up to possibly meet someone for themselves – or maybe for their nice Jewish grandson? (Hey, that works too!) We were thrilled to see the outstanding turnout and the overwhelmingly positive response to our brand new site. Thank you, #JDaters!

December 17, 2015: JStyle Winter Issue Launch Party
We traveled to Cleveland this month as well, giving us the opportunity to support the singles’ winter issue of JStyle Magazine! The location was definitely impressive, taking place at the Museum of Contemporary Art (literally amazing). We had the honor of announcing the singles featured while also handing out some pretty cool prizes. We were beyond humbled with the amount of appreciation flowing from the Cleveland Jewish News and their community. Many JDate couples approached us, thanking us for sticking around for 18 years (you’re welcome!) We plan to stick around for much longer and appreciate the overwhelming support.
