I met Scott on JDate after being online for just two weeks. Scott, however, had been a member for longer. In fact, he was just about to cancel his membership when he spotted me online one night.

Talking to him was just so easy. After chatting for a week, we agreed to meet in person. It was only my second date with someone I met on JDate! We met for coffee at 2pm, expecting to spend only a couple of hours together. The next time I checked my watch, it was close to 8pm! Neither of us wanted the date to end, so we agreed to walk down the street to grab sushi at a place I knew well. Once done with dinner, we headed to a local bar to catch the end of a decisive football game (it was the last week in December). We finally said goodbye at 11:30pm – our date lasted almost 10 hours! When I woke up the next day, I knew I wouldn’t be searching for “The One” much longer. Almost two years later, we got engaged and were very happy.

We are now coming up on our two-year wedding anniversary. I’m so glad I took the plunge and decided to create a JDate profile that night in December.
