How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
Jonathan and I met on JDate in early April 2012. We decided to go out for coffee on the Santa Monica Pier one evening after speaking on the phone for several hours the same day, and we instantly fell madly in love. It was love at first sight, an instant, soulmate type of connection that cannot be described in words. He brought me flowers and opened the door for me – two very good signs for a first date. We sat on a bench outside of a coffee shop on the pier and talked for hours. We walked into the arcade and played air hockey. I won, of course. It was pretty much a done deal after that night. I moved in after about a week, then we were engaged after four months – his proposal took place at that arcade on the pier! We were married after 10 months. We will be celebrating our four-year wedding anniversary on February 17 and have welcomed our first child, a baby boy named Jacob. He is six months old now.
