How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
Our first date was in Providence, RI and involved getting ice cream and taking a walk in a park. From the second we met, there was an instant connection and we shared a similar sense of quirkiness. I remember discussing how we were both the star of all of our friends’ bar/bat mitzvah videos because we were always front and center on a dance floor. We even reenacted the “Soulja Boy” dance in the middle of the park, which shows how quickly we felt comfortable with each other. Our first date lasted over four hours because we had so much to talk about and we had our second date planned before the first one even ended.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
I knew we had something special from the moment we met. At the end of that first date, I called my mom and said, “Mom, I just met the boy I am going to marry,” and here we are, 2.5 years later, engaged to be married next spring. It wasn’t something I could explain, but I knew in my heart that there was something different and special about the connection we had after just a few hours.

What advice would you give other JDaters?
My advice would be to continue going on dates, no matter how many don’t work out. All it takes is one good one, and your life could be changed forever.
