Dear JDate,

After a long hot day in NYC in the middle of August, a girlfriend of mine convinced me to rejoin JDate in hopes of finding a ‘nice Jewish man’. I had been on a bad date earlier in the evening, and I figured what else do I have to lose. So I said sure. I unsuspended my membership and jumped in headfirst.

I read a couple emails I had received, and the next day, I came across one from Jeffrey. Not only was he handsome but also charming and sweet all wrapped up into one man. I didn’t hesitate. I gave him my phone number, and he called me later that evening. Hello turned into a six-hour phone call. I was smitten. I had to see where this chemistry would lead.

The very next day we spoke once, but my nerves were on edge all day. We had made plans to meet the following evening. I was so nervous I almost cancelled twice. Thank god I didn’t. My life changed forever!

At 8 pm on a Wednesday night, I sat on the steps to my apartment building on East 88th street and saw my prince charming walking down the street… from that moment on, when our eyes met, it was love at first sight, and we have been together since. We were instant best friends.

On New Years Eve after spending two weeks in Aruba, Jeffrey got down on one knee in the middle of a moonlit beach and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes!!!! Thanks JDate for helping me find my soul mate.
