How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
I messaged Melanie and, after talking for a couple weeks, we decided to meet at a bar near where Melanie lived. Melanie is a teacher and it was her first day of teaching for the school year. We realized that we had a whole lot in common and had a really good time. We had a couple of drinks and both of us had a long day, so we decided to part ways and I told her I would call her. I knew the rule to wait a couple days, but I called her the next afternoon and we made plans to go to dinner that weekend, and we were together all the time after that.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
The first night I kissed her. I had been trying to take things slow and, from the first time we kissed, I knew this was the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

What advice would you give other JDaters?
My advice would be to forget the “rules” of dating. If you like someone, call them. I didn’t wait to call and look at us now!
