How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
After seeing Ryan’s profile, I reached out to him first, which is something I had never done before! On our first date, we went out for dinner in Jersey City. It was a horrible! A horrible restaurant with horrible food – but with the best company. He kissed me that night at the end of the date. We found out that we knew a lot of the same people and grew up in the same town, and he had even been in my brother’s kindergarten class! There were too many coincidences to count. With this shared history, we felt comfortable with each other immediately.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Ryan says it was the first night we met. I probably felt that I knew after the second or third date. It all happened so fast. We moved in together after 6 months of dating, got engaged almost a year and a half after that, and our wedding is this coming October.

What advice would you give other JDaters?
Reach out to whomever you find interesting, and don’t worry if you don’t hear back from someone. There are plenty of fish in the sea and the right person is out there looking for you!
