We’ve shared our thoughts on the hottest Jewish actors and actresses in Hollywood, and we’ve even clued you in to some surprising Jewish celebs that you might not have realized were Jewish in the first place. But everyone on those lists is pretty well established in Tinseltown. So what about the newcomers?

Fortunately, there are plenty of young rising stars in Hollywood that are keeping the Jewish lineage alive and well. These are the ones that are a still a little bit under the radar so far, but they’re sure to take Hollywood by storm any day now. Keep your eyes on these up-and-coming Jewish celebs.

1. Ansel Elgort
This 21-year-old star first made a splash in “Divergent” when he played Caleb, the brother of main character Beatrice (played by Shailene Woodley). In a funny turn of events, his next big role was cancer patient Augustus Walters in “The Fault in Our Stars,” in which his love interest was Hazel Grace Lancaster, also played by Shailene Woodley. He reprised his role as Caleb in two more movies from the “Divergent” series (one that has yet to be released) and has scored leading roles in a couple upcoming films. To top it all off, he also DJs under the name “Ansolo” and has a record deal with Island Records. Is there anything this guy can’t do?

2. Zosia Mamet
If the last name of this actress rings a bell, don’t be surprised; Zosia is the daughter of David Mamet, one of America’s most famous playwrights. This Jewish actress has earned rave reviews for her portrayal of Shoshanna on “Girls.” But recently, her career has started to take off beyond the HBO series and now includes some exciting film work, including “Bleeding Heart” (in which she co-starred alongside Jessica Biel) and “Wiener-Dog” (a Todd Solondz-directed comedy). Mamet appears to pick her projects carefully and it’s really starting to pay off in terms of a budding Hollywood career.

3. Aaron Taylor-Johnson
This British actor started his career with impressive roles. He played a young version of Edward Norton’s character in flashback scenes for “The Illusionist,” and he even portrayed John Lennon in the 2009 biopic “Nowhere Boy.” His big break came when he played the title crime-fighter in the movie “Kick-Ass.” But his superhero days weren’t over yet; he went on to portray Quicksilver in “Avengers: Age of Ultron.” He also had a major role in the 2014 “Godzilla” movie. With chops for indie films and blockbusters alike, it’s no surprise that Taylor-Johnson is making a big impression on Hollywood.

4. Yael Stone
This actress had already been a long-established presence in Australian theater when she was cast as Lorna Morella on “Orange is the New Black.” That’s right – this actress is Australian, which comes as a shock to anyone who has heard her impeccable New Jersey accent on the Netflix series. Since she’s still new to Hollywood, many people aren’t familiar with the name, but her breakout performance on the show has already helped her land other significant roles, such as Peretta Jones in the much-anticipated “Childhood’s End” miniseries.

Isn’t it great to see all this new talent coming to Hollywood? Be sure to check out the exciting upcoming projects from these Jewish actresses and actors.
