This union began when ‘Ben732’
Signed on to JDate to find love so true
And in Staten Island ‘Champetski’ logged on
Hoping to find herself a Jewish Don Juan

The dating site etiquette they soon found to know
You mark possible mates with a “Yes,” “Maybe” or “No”
And if “Yes” is selected on both of their parts,
Each is notified with an icon of interlocked hearts

So, as they stand here holding hands before you
Exchanging their vows and saying “I do”
They’re excited and happy to finally confess
They knew their love was mutual because
They both clicked “YES!”

This poem was printed in blue ink, on silver boxes, which housed small chocolate computers, and were given as guest favors at our wedding to pay homage to our JDate success!

After searching for many months, Renee promised herself this was her LAST date before taking a hiatus from her search for Prince Charming. Ben, on the other hand, was only three weeks into his subscription. Paths crossed at just the right moment and after a few dates, the two were inseparable.  Good thing it all worked out!

Thank you JDate, from both of us, for years of happiness!  We met in 2007, were engaged in 2008, purchased a house in 2009, had a gorgeous wedding and traveled the world in 2011… Can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store! 😉
