Dear JDate,
 
Joel and I met on October 27, 2007. 
 
Joel, who lived in California, contacted me and asked to meet him during an upcoming trip to Florida. It just so happened that at the time he was coming to Florida, I was going out to California. I told him that if he were still in Florida when I returned that I would call him.
 
I re-read Joel’s profile and looked at his photo many times after that and when I returned to Florida, I did not hesitate to call him. We set a JDate for Saturday, October 27, 2007 and that was the beginning of the rest of our lives.
 
Joel had to go back to California however. He then wooed me with phone calls, emails, videos and small gifts. After three weeks, he said he wanted to come back to Florida and spend more time with me so we could get to know each other better. Naturally, I agreed, and as the saying goes, “the rest is history.” We have been together through thick and thin since that time and we now live together in both California and Florida.
 
We believe that we’ve both found our soul mate in each other and we will forever be thankful for JDate.
