Michael and I found each other during our second time around on JDate. Things were slow to start as we spent the first three weeks exchanging emails. Two days after we began speaking on the phone, Mike asked me out. Our phone conversations continued afterwards as we accumulated 21 hours of talking time in a week, but then things were temporarily put on hold. Even though our first date was on Saturday, June 2, it wasn’t until three weeks later – on our fourth date – that something really started to happen (it must have been a mixture of Strollo’s ices, testing each other’s knowledge of oldies music and movie quotes, and reminiscing about our B’nai and Bat Mitzvahs that made everything click). Suddenly, it began to feel right. During our second full week of dating, the flood gates opened – we were exactly what the other had been searching for and have been in love since.

We became an official couple on June 30, 2012, and Mike proposed on our one-year anniversary.  With the help of JDate, Mike and I found our best friends in one another, and are looking forward to a lifetime together.
