Earlier this summer, we asked women from across New York City to tell us why they deserved to win a date (paid for by JDate) with our Chosen JDater®, Jeremy. Of course, Jeremy (being the smart and cute Jewish single he is) got a lot of attention from women all over the Big Apple, and emails soon flooded in from women begging us to pick them for The Great Date.

“It was an honor being chosen as the Chosen JDater,” Jeremy said. “I had a lot of fun reading about the women who entered to win a date with me.  It was refreshing to see that there were women who shared a lot of the same values as me.”

Indeed, there were a lot of women who shared Jeremy’s values, sweet nature and adventurous spirit. After sifting through email after email, we finally narrowed the options down to three amazing women and sent our final top three matches to Jeremy. His pick? Esther, a fellow New Yorker by way of Boston.

The two shared a romantic date together that included dinner and drinks in New York City (Jeremy was so thoughtful; he asked our team to leave it to him when it came to planning the evening). While it wasn’t a love connection, both daters said they had fun and would advise others to give it a try!
