Back in the summer of 2005, I found myself alone again. Gratefully, I found the solution to ending my loneliness, by developing and maintaining a desire for health, recovery, spiritual thinking and subscribing to JDate.

I was very active on the website, nationally and locally in Las Vegas. I come from the school of, everything is a numbers game, but soon I learned that with G-d, all things are possible. Specifically, I am referring to my soul mate, whom I met on JDate in late 2005. Her name is Angie. She has her own story on how she ended up on JDate; whereas I had spoken to or dated hundreds of women I met online, the very first and only person Angie met was me! Even though her outward beauty was intoxicating to me, her inward beauty is indescribable by mere words.

To make a long story longer, I have been deeply involved in becoming a better person, by practicing spiritual principles (easier said than done), and can see the fruits in my life. What makes it the best, is having Angie at my side, who is more advanced spiritually than me, teaches me daily, and we are on our journey together.

On a final note, whereas, I was raised in a Conservative Jewish household, most of my family shifted to Reform or non-affiliated. Angie had checked off “other stream.” I’m still trying to figure out what that is, but it includes: bagels, family, not celebrating Christmas, laughter, joy & happiness.
