We have received several inquiries regarding a press release JNF distributed, which included JDate, without our knowledge or approval and felt it was important to comment. While we agree the release was in poor taste and poorly timed, we want to make sure that the press release does not detract from the intent of the trip we chose to sponsor, which was to provide Jewish singles the unique and moving experience of visiting their homeland together, while also giving them the opportunity to connect on a deeper level because of their shared heritage.

Most importantly, we extend our thoughts and prayers to the State of Israel, the Israeli people and all the innocents impacted by the tragic events.
