There was something that interested me about Kerin. Maybe it was that she was half-Sephardic, or maybe it was that she was a nice, Jewish girl dressed like Kat Von D for Halloween. Regardless, I sent Kerin an IM.

After some witty banter, I asked her out on our first date, which ended up being at Madame Tussauds in Hollywood. Before you judge, keep in mind that I had a Groupon. On our second date, Kerin met my new roommate, a 10-week-old corgi puppy named Gizmo. That pretty much sealed the deal.

We got engaged last November at the top of the Empire State Building. The doorman had my camera and captured the entire moment as it transpired. All these wonderful memories, with a lifetime of more to come, and it’s all thanks to JDate.

If that weren’t enough, after we started dating, Kerin’s two best friends were inspired to join JDate as well. They are both engaged now with weddings on the way.
