Rebecca and I met on JDate almost four years ago in 2007. You make think this is an ordinary story but I will tell you how it’s extraordinary. We were from different states; Rebecca was from Maryland and I from Florida. We began talking online and on the phone and after about two months we decided we wanted to meet and see if our chemistry was conducive to what it was before meeting. It was even better than we both imagined. After the first meeting, we took turns visiting each other for the next nine months and decided we couldn’t live without each other. I moved to Maryland in May 2008 and we got engaged in December 2008. Rebecca and I got married on August 16, 2009. We are very happy and, G-d willing, are expecting our first child on September 28, 2011. We want to thank JDate for getting us together and we encourage those single Jews out there to try JDate; it really works.
