Dear JDate,

I had tried JDate when I realized that, after being divorced for six years, I wanted to try a serious relationship again, with marriage as the goal, if lucky. Bo had been on JDate and had been divorced for approximately the same amount of time. We both had met wonderful people and had good experiences on JDate, but neither one of us found the person with whom we would want to spend the rest of our lives.

After Bo had written to me, I looked up and read his profile and instantly knew there was something about him that I liked. I had a good feeling that he was the one. A good profile and photo do work.

To make a long story short, after a year and a half of dating, we got engaged. We both sold our townhouses and, this past July, bought a home together. We plan to get married at our home with our family and friends. We are very happy, in love and best friends and could have never found this good fortune if not for JDate. Don’t give up if you don’t find the right person right away. They are out there.
