Dear JDate,

My husband and I met on JDate.com two years ago this High Holy Day. After I went out on many dates through JDate.com, Rick emailed me, and we went out. He only sent out 3 emails, and I was the only one who responded. We met and have been together ever since.

We happened to be the same age and went to rival high schools in the San Fernando Valley. We even went to the same Hebrew school. We had our bar mitzvahs performed there by the same rabbi and are pretty sure our paths have crossed before but just don’t remember. An added bonus is that our parents and families get along really well too.

I am grateful to JDate.com for helping us find each other, and I always suggest JDate.com to my friends who are still searching for their true love.

Rick and I had a non-traditional Jewish wedding at the same temple where we had our bar mitzvahs. We only had our immediate family, which made it a very intimate and meaningful day.
