Ofer and I met in October of 2003 on JDate. Our first meeting was at Cafe Mozart on 72nd Street. He was from Israel and was looking for someone who spoke Hebrew. I put Hebrew as a language on my profile because of my years in Jewish day school and high school. Apparently, my Hebrew wasn’t quite what he expected. We hit it off, nonetheless, and got married on June 11, 2006. We have two daughters, ages 6 and 3, and have JDate to thank.
