How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
We started talking on instant messenger while Troy was at work before he had to leave for his bowling league. He told me to get back on the computer around 9:30 so we could continue our conversation. I almost forgot, but I was sure glad I logged back on. Troy called me on the phone for the first time the next night and we spoke for a very long time. I remember getting off the phone and my mom asking me who was I talking to since she knows I hate the phone. I told her, “Some guy from JDate.”

We talked/texted Wednesday, and Thursday was Valentine’s Day. I was able to talk Troy into going out to dinner. We went to a local restaurant and had our first date. We felt so comfortable around each other and had tons to talk about, and I couldn’t stop thinking that he could be the one for me. We had dinner and made our way to our cars in the parking lot. That is when our first kiss happened. As soon as we got back into our cars, Troy called me and we talked more. Our dates continued that Friday night and Saturday night.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
We knew it was true love when I could be myself around him. We are playful and act like kids around each other. We don’t have to pretend to be someone else who we are not. We truly just fell for each other and became one another’s best friends.

What advice would you give other JDaters?
Always give JDate a chance. I went on many dates and they didn’t work out, but once I met Troy, I knew my life changed. I was actually the only female that he spoke to on JDate and went on a date with after he signed up!
